International Workshop on Advanced InAlGaN Laser Diodes (iWILD), incl. Deep-UV Emitters
Tim Wernicke, Michael Kneissl, TU Berlin
mehr
iWILD 2025 will convene top international experts to discuss the most recent developments, difficulties, and breakthroughs in the field of InAlGaN-based laser diodes. We will cover a wide variety of topics such as (deep) UV laser diodes, surface emitting laser diodes (PCSELs, VCSELs), novel concepts (photonic integration, frequency conversion by SHG,…), and laser diodes based on tunnel junctions or DPDs (including stacked LDs). The most recent developments in optoelectronic technology, InAlGaN laser diodes offer unparalleled potential for use in a variety of fields, including high-speed optical communication, sophisticated sensing, and precise industrial processing and quantum applications. The workshop format features a limited number of high level presentations in single session, aiming at in-depth talks combined with round table discussions. The workshop seeks to facilitate networking with colleagues in the field, stimulate innovations, and establish a cooperative environment for exchanging creative concepts and research findings.
